Цель такого исследования — определить характер головокружения, установить его связь с повреждением вестибулярной системы, уточнить уровень поражения вестибулярной системы и степень компенсированности вестибулярных нарушений. Клиническое нейровестибулярное исследование включает анализ анамнестических данных, спонтанного нистагма, вестибулоокулярного рефлекса (проба Хальмаги), теста подавления вестибулоокулярного рефлекса, теста Фукуда и позиционного нистагма (проба Дикс-Холлпайка и МакКлюра-Пагнини). Такой объем нейровестибулярного исследования не требует специальной аппаратуры, а само исследование занимает немного времени, что позволяет использовать его в повседневной практике как врачам общей практики, так и неврологам и гериатрам.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Bedside examination is undoubtedly important part of general investigation of elderly patients with vertigo and dizziness. The main purposes of such examination is to confirm the vestibular origin of vertigo, to find out where vestibular system has been damaged and to establish the extent of central vestibular compensation. Bedside examination for vestibular screening consists of an interview, analysis of spontaneous, gaze-evoked and positional nystagmus, Halmagyi head impulse test, vestibule-ocular reflex suppression test and Fukuda stepping test.
